Maiden season in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), with 888 Racing and Collins Contractors (Vauxhall) and Geoff Steel Racing with Collins Contractors (BMW)
2010
Another successful year racing in the Porshe Carrera Cup GB with Collins ReDesign Racing. Finished 3rd in the pro-am1 classification and also built up a successful brand, whilst also completing several Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) intiatives, for a number of charities.

2009 Porsche Carrera Cup. Signed by professional race team Redline Racing for the season. Finished 4th in the pro-am1 classification.

Due to Tony’s achievements in the VW racing cup in 2007, Porsche have allocated a full race Prepared carrera cup car. Finished runner-up in the pro-am1 classification.

Race tech appointed Tony the official test driver for the Gumpert Apollo, testing the car to it’s boundaries and beyond, at all top major racing circuits in the UK. The Apollo Gumpert is a true thoroughbred super car, delivering over 750bhp.
2007
VW cup developed a Golf Mark V and went on to win the championship, we were the only car to finish all 12 races, winning the championship by 38 points (after 30 points deducted as only 11 of 12 rounds counted). Achieved 2 1st places, 3 2nd places 1 3rd place and 2 4th places, plus numerous pole positions, fastest laps and lap records.
2006
VW cup. Despite setting the quickest times in practice in the first four races we had bad luck where someone damaged our car and subsequently the engine blew. Replacement engine for last 8 races where we scored more points than anyone else in the championship getting 6 podiums. 1 win, 4 2nds, 1 3rd, 1 4th and 1 5th place. 3 fastest laps, 2 lap records and 1 pole position. Finished 4th overall with low budget in an under developed car.
2005
Back on track to compete in 2005 Toyota MR2 championship. Won the championship by 32 points in first full competitive season in racing. Achieved four 1st places, and six 2nd places, including numerous fastest laps, pole positions and new lap records.
2004
Tested lots of race cars for various teams setting many good lap times. Lots of drive offers but not the required budget to take the opportunities.
2001
Auto express competition. Was the winner out of 1,000 entrants. Got the chance to race a Uniroyal Beetle Fun Cup car setting fastest lap at Brands Hatch.
2000
Renault Clio cup scholarship. Was in final 10 out of 5,000 hopefuls. Despite setting fastest lap and good feedback from instructors wasn’t chosen as overall winner.
1999
Time to prove himself – sold everything he owned to compete in F600 Championship. It was a high level to start at but he enjoyed the challenge. A low budget and an underpowered car meant it was hard work but nonetheless finished first 8 races in top 7 and was highest placed privateer at all races. Season ended early due to money running out.
1998
Entered Elf Fasttrack Scholarship finishing in top 6 out of 3,000 entrants. Tested all aspects of driving. Only 5 were selected to sign contracts to go to Renault campus in France. Was ruled out due to lack of previous race experience despite finishing so high up. They weren’t expecting a novice to do so well and finish in top 6.
1997
Numerous track days lead to suggestion from instructors to pursue a career in motor racing.
1983 to 1989
First competitive race instinct began as early as 4 years old. First B.M.X. race at a local circuit finishing 2nd on a standard bike competing against older boys on race bikes. Went on to race at National level. Over the next six years tallied numerous British, Europe and World number 1 titles.
