Turbo Honda for Gilham
Tony Gilham has revealed he’ll race a turbocharged Honda Civic in 2012’s Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship. Gilham has acquired the ex-Dynamics Honda Racing Civic driven to six race wins and runners-up spot in 2011’s BTCC by Gordon Shedden. It will continue to use a potent Neil Brown-tuned Honda turbo engine this season, although Gilham is remaining tight-lipped about which team will run the car. Read More
Track Day
A great day was had by all that joined Tony and his team for another Track Day at Brands Hatch on Saturday 21st January.
However, it was a long week getting everything prepared, especially the new ‘Demo’ car that had to be primed and wrapped in the now familiar pink & Green livery as a few minor hiccups and late delivery of parts, meant that most of the team worked into the early hours and in some instances, through the night in order to ensure that it made it to the track! Open Day
Despite it being a cold and damp morning, Customers, Clients, sponsors, Friends and Family were out in force on Sunday 11th December in support of British Touring Car Championship driver, Tony Gilham as his new business venture; Tony Gilham Limited was officially opened on Crossways Business Park in Dartford. Charity Race Day Experience
On Friday 26 November 2011, team Manager Gary Allen and I travelled up to our hotel in Norwich to meet up with some of the VXR on line Club members who had travelled up from Hampshire and had invited me to take part in the Charity day at Snetterton the following day in aid of Ronald McDonald House Charities.
