Former Lotus and Palmer Audi driver Emma Selway today put pen to paper and signed for Team-HARD. to drive in the 2013 Volkswagen Championship.

. Being out of a full time drive in the motorsport world for the last couple of years Emma is keen to get her racing career back on track. After showing great promise in the BARC Renult, she has also competed in the Palmer Audi series and proved to be a force in the Lotus Elise trophy where in just three races she was on the top step of the podium twice

Keeping her skills honed Emma has been working as an instructor at Palmersport instructing, coaching and giving tuition to the general public and other up and coming drivers. Emma spoke of her excitement on getting back behind the wheel and competing again, “I am very excited to get my career back on the right track and now looking forward to a career in motorsport with Team HARD on to BTCC and maybe one day WTCC”.

Team-HARD. boss Tony Gilham seconded the young lady “Emma has shown that she has got the skill to compete with the best and we feel that she is going to be a great addition to the team”.

Long term sponsor Duncan Foster from FIS Windows was pleased with the news that Emma is getting back behind the wheel. “After supporting Emma for the last 5 years I am so proud of her to achieve her dream of driving for such a top team and I have no doubt that this will be the spring board for Emma’s career in professional racing. I wish her all the success that she deserves”.
