Team-HARD. Sign another driver for the Civic!!!

Aaron Williamson will become the second young driver to make his Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship debut with Team-HARD. this season at the final race at Brands Hatch next month.

The 20-year-old follows in the footsteps of Howard Fuller, who impressed onlookers at Rockingham with two points finishes in Tony Gilham‘s team.

Williamson has four years experience on the TOCA support package and has raced in the 2012 Renault Clio Cup, and will step into the S2000 Honda Civic with a view to finding a full-time seat next season.

The Dartford team’s Operations Manager Ben Kattenhorn told “He’s looking to move into touring cars but wants to see how it goes first. We’ve got a test set for the week before Brands Hatch.

“He’s a good driver and he’s done well in Clios. We think he’ll be up there and we hope he does as well as Fuller.”

Fuller was the third driver to race the Civic in 2012 following team manager Gilham’s first-half campaign and then the arrival of American Robb Holland. Holland took over the car for Snetterton and Knockhill, and the team confirmed he was still in the frame for next season.
